Limitations
For AI Knowledge Translations, if your source language or target language isn’t English, then it’s translated in batches, which takes longer. The article payload, in Megabytes, submitted for translation determines the length of time for batch translation.
Translation quality can vary based on the type of article, language direction, and whether you use custom terminology. We strongly recommend that a subject matter expert always review the results of translated knowledge articles.
Considerations
AI Knowledge Translations consumes fully metered flex credits. To learn more, reference the Speech Foundations section of Flex Credits Billable Usage Types.
If you have content you don't want translated in the body of your Knowledge Article, such as codelines specific to English, you can use the “Do not translate” HTML tag.
