Add or remove supported component records from a configuration item (CI) to maintain accurate infrastructure and software associations.

Important You can create or delete only certain component types from the
Components tab of a CI record. Supported component types include network
adapter, software instance, installed software, network storage disk, and peripheral
device.
- From the App Launcher, find and select CMDB and Service Graph.
- In the navigation panel, select Configuration Items, and then select All Configuration Items.
- Click the required CI record and then select the Components tab.
- Select the required component type.
- To add a component, click New Component.
- Enter the required component details.
- Save your changes.
- To delete a component, click Delete Component.
