Fuji MR18 release focuses on improving product trust and providing the highest level of security.
As announced recently, Salesforce is retiring Click Field Service Edge. The official end-of-life date is December 31, 2026. Since the ClickSoftware acquisition in October 2019, Salesforce recommends migrating to the Salesforce Field Service product. Review Salesforce Field Service and contact your Account Executive to start planning the migration process. Field Service Edge documentation can now be accessed via the Salesforce portal.

Enforcement of integration requests throttling
Open integration requests that last too long might impact the system's performance, stability, and overall availability. To avoid this situation the FSE server terminates connections to incoming integration requests that keep an open HTTP connection longer than 120 minutes. A 408 error code is returned to the calling application, with the “Request Timeout” message.
Requires feature toggle on.

MS SQL Server upgrade
The current database server was upgraded to MS SQL 2019.
This feature is available upon deployment.

Analytics service on Sandbox tenants
Access to the Analytics service on Sandbox tenants is limited to the preferred Sandbox tenant.
This feature will be available in Fuji MR18 after deployment, upon
announcement.

New MFA token delivery method by Google Authenticator app
Twilio’s text messaging service is planned to be decommissioned toward the end of the year. Use the new MFA token delivery method and transition from Twilio’s text messaging services to increase service stability and availability.

TLS on integration servers in production environments
Improved integration security uses TLS infrastructure to meet the highest industry standards. This change doesn’t impact customers.
This feature is available upon deployment. -
File attachment retention policy change
Some customers retain file attachments for business purposes such as audits, safety information, a holistic view of service records, or completeness of work orders. To accommodate this need, the data retention policy for file attachments is extended to 180 days. This retention policy means, for example, that a file attachment placed in an AWS S3 designated bucket on July 1, 2024 will no longer be accessible in 2025.

Bing Maps for ClickMobile Touch Windows users
The Bing Maps API is used for map visualization.
