From the Admin menu, select System Activity Log. The page has two tabs.
For each event, the log lists when the event occurred, the user who made the change, and the user's role. Each event also lists the objects and fields affected and changed values, if applicable. Manage the information shown in the log with these options.
- Activity Log. Browse and search individual system events. Each event shows a row number, the date and time it occurred, the user who made the change, and the user's role. Events also show the objects and fields affected and any changed values. Use the date and user filters to narrow the results. The log uses infinite scroll, so all matching records load as you scroll down.
- Exports. Create and manage bulk exports of log data as ZIP files for auditing, compliance, or record retention.
To export log data for a date range, apply filters on the Activity Log tab, then click Export. The export runs in the background and appears in the Exports tab when complete.
- Export System Activity Log Data
Export System Activity Log data as a ZIP file to support audits, compliance reviews, or long-term record retention outside of Salesforce Spiff. - Download and Verify a System Activity Log Export
Download a completed System Activity Log export and use the checksum to confirm that the file is complete and unaltered, which is required for compliance audits. - Delete a System Activity Log Export
