Extend desktop route management beyond individual user assignments by assigning routes to non-user objects, such as vehicles or trucks.

| To configure route objects: | Customize Application |
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Object Manager, and then select Object Manager.
- Open the Maps Route object.
- On the Fields & Relationships tab, create a Lookup field to the object that you want to assign routes to (for example, Vehicle).
- Save the field.
- Open Salesforce Maps.
- On the Routes tab, click New and create a route.
- In the search box, search for and select the non-user object.
- Select the date that the route is scheduled for, and then click Save.
