Keep these considerations in mind before setting up Sales Workspace.
Required Editions
| Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Agentforce 1 Sales editions with the Sales Foundation add-on. |
General Considerations
- Sales Workspace isn’t turned on by default and requires a Salesforce admin to complete a setup process.
- When you turn on Sales Workspace, it becomes the new default home page for assigned users in the Sales, Sales Console, and Sales Engagement apps. Sales Workspace replaces the traditional Seller Home experience.
- Recommended features, such as the Agentforce Lead Nurturing and Agentforce Pipeline Management, are optional. You must configure them separately.
- If you use Agentforce Pipeline Management, deactivating your Sales Management overnight isn’t recommended. Sales Workspace feed suggestions refresh overnight, and if the agent isn’t active during the refresh, event insights, such as suggestions to prepare for meetings, are lost.
- Each custom signal supports a one-to-one relationship between a single recommendation and a single feed item. Grouped signals for multiple records processed simultaneously aren’t supported.
Usage Considerations
Sales Workspace is powered by Data 360. Frequent updates to records can increase your org’s costs for Data 360 credit consumption when you use this feature. See Data Cloud Billable Usage Types.
To better understand cost impacts, work with your account executive before turning on Sales Workspace.
Limitations
Sales Workspace isn’t supported if Advanced Currency Management (ACM) is turned on.
