Test inactive retrievers and retriever versions in Retriever Playground without activating them first. Previously, you ran tests only against active retrievers. Select a version to evaluate, run test queries, and refine retrieval before activating a version for production. View retriever metrics in card or table view.
Where: This change applies to Data 360 in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
When: This feature is available starting in October 2026.
How: From the AI Models Retrieve option, select an inactive retriever or version and select Test. Select a test mode, modify the retriever configuration, enter a test question, and review the results.
