Stop a backup while it’s running to address production data errors or modify backup options.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience.
Who: To use this feature, users need the Cancel Backup permission.
How: From the Backup and Recover Next app, click the Backups tab. In the row for the running backup, select Cancel Backup from the action menu.
