Gain Insights into Every Optimization Run with Key Metrics in the New Scheduling Console

Review before-and-after metrics in the optimization results panel for Resource Schedule Optimization, In-Day Optimization, and Global Optimization. Get an instant view of how scheduled appointments, utilization, and average travel time changed as a result of each run.

Where: This feature is available in Lightning Experience and Aura sites accessed through Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions with the Field Service managed package installed.

How: Assign the Run Resource Schedule Optimization, Run In-Day Optimization, or Run Global Optimization permission from the Field Service Dispatcher Permissions permission set in Setup to let users run optimization and view results metrics. After running an optimization, click Show Results in the Activity Tracker to open the Optimization Results panel. The metrics section appears below the optimization run details. For In-Day and Global Optimization, click Show Optimization Hub in the results panel to analyze the run in more detail in Optimization Hub.
