# Gain Insights into Every Optimization Run with Key Metrics in the New Scheduling Console

Review before-and-after metrics in the optimization results panel for Resource Schedule Optimization, In-Day Optimization, and Global Optimization. Get an instant view of how scheduled appointments, utilization, and average travel time changed as a result of each run.

**Where:** This feature is available in Lightning Experience and [Aura sites](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=experience.exp_cloud_basics_glossary.htm&type=5&language=en_US) accessed through Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions with the Field Service managed package installed.

**How:** Assign the **Run Resource Schedule Optimization**, **Run In-Day Optimization**, or **Run Global Optimization** permission from the Field Service Dispatcher Permissions permission set in Setup to let users run optimization and view results metrics. After running an optimization, click **Show Results** in the Activity Tracker to open the Optimization Results panel. The metrics section appears below the optimization run details. For In-Day and Global Optimization, click **Show Optimization Hub** in the results panel to analyze the run in more detail in Optimization Hub.
