Who: This feature is available to users with the Rebate and Accruals Management Advanced permission.
Why: Separating accrual logic from payout schedules enables more frequent liability recognition (for example, monthly or weekly) even when payouts occur quarterly. This flexibility helps prevent financial surprises and improves P&L accuracy.
How: In Setup, enable the Advanced Rebate and Accruals preference. Configure independent accrual frequencies at the Rebate Program level and use Data 360 powered DPEs to automate accrual calculations and track them by accrual periods.
