Asynchronous actions now show only the Completed path by default when added to flows in Auto-Layout mode, reducing canvas clutter. You can still optionally include the Timed Out path for asynchronous actions.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic. It’s available in Essentials, Pro Suite, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
How: Open the asynchronous action’s property panel. In the Set Timeout Length section, select Include timeout path. The timeout path appears on the canvas, where you can define custom behavior for when the action exceeds the timeout period.
For existing flows with asynchronous actions, deselect Include timeout path to hide unconfigured timeout paths and simplify your flow canvas.
If you don't include the timeout path, the flow throws an error when the action times out. To handle errors without a timeout path, connect a Fault path to the Action element.
