Troubleshoot Subscriber Issues Faster by Enabling Debug Logs

You can now self-serve enabling a subscriber’s access to managed Apex debug log entries by using the License Management App (LMA). Use debug logs to troubleshoot issues that are specific to the subscriber’s interaction with the managed package. Previously, a subscriber’s access to debug logs showing ENTERING_MANAGED_PKG could only be granted by opening a Salesforce Partner Support case.

Where: This change applies to first- and second-generation (2GP) managed packages.

How: In the LMA, find the subscriber’s org, then enable debug logs for the package namespace.

Important
Important You enable debug logs for all managed packages in the namespace, rather than for individual managed packages. When you enable debug logs for a namespace, logs from Apex code execution in that namespace become visible in the subscriber org.

Because multiple packages can share a namespace in 2GP, enabling debug logs for 2GP means enabling logs for all managed packages in the namespace.
