Enable and Configure Concurrent Scheduling

With concurrent scheduling, it’s easy to schedule multiple customer appointments in the same time slot. For example, a doctor’s office can let several patients book a Monday 1-2 PM appointment to ensure against downtime. Appointments appear as overlapping events on the Salesforce Calendar.

Considerations for Concurrent Scheduling
Here are some things to keep in mind when you implement concurrent scheduling.
Update Field-Level Security for the Time Slot Object
Update the field-level security on the Work Type Group and Max Appointment fields on the Time Slot object for all user profiles involved in scheduling.
Enable Concurrent Scheduling
Enable Concurrent Scheduling to let users schedule multiple appointments within the same time slot.
Enable Concurrent Scheduling for Group Service Appointments
Schedule multiple appointments within the same time slot when you’ve selected the group appointment mode.
Define Time Slots for Concurrent Scheduling
Define time slots for concurrent appointments and specify the maximum number of appointments that can be made in a time slot.
