Calendar sync connects a partner user's Google or Microsoft calendar to Salesforce through
Einstein Activity Capture (EAC). Salesforce Scheduler uses the connected calendar to calculate
appointment availability. When customers book appointments on an Experience Cloud site, the
available time slots account for the partner user's external calendar commitments. Calendar
sync reduces scheduling conflicts without showing customers the details of external
events.
