If you no longer want the values of a dependent picklist to depend on a controlling
field, delete its dependency. Deleting the dependency removes the logic that defines how the
values of the picklist depend on the controlling field, but doesn't delete the fields or affect
their data.

From the management settings for the picklist’s object, go to Fields.

Click Field Dependencies.

Click Del next to the field dependency relationship you want to
delete.

Click OK to confirm.
