Get notified of specific changes in your Dynamics SaaS data and metadata when you define rules for Backup & Recover Smart Alerts to monitor that data. Set a percentage change threshold to minimize false positives and proactively detect unwanted schema modifications.
Users with write privileges, Master Admin and Admin, can create Smart Alerts.
- Select the backup service you want to add an alert to.
- Select the Smart Alerts tab.

Click on Add Alert and enter:
- Table Name: Search for a specific table.
- Action: Select action.
- When: Select filters.
- Click Save.
- Confirm the alert was added to the alerts list.
Note Smart Alerts are sent to all active users of the business unit or of the account.
