Get familiar with tips, tricks, and potential pitfalls before you design, manage, and run flow approval processes.
- General Flow Approval Processes Limits
When using flow approval processes, keep flow approval process limits, flow limits, and Apex governor limits in mind. - Considerations for Flow Approval Processes
Consider entry and exit condition requirements, events triggered by record changes, input values, and email notifications when you design and use flow approval processes. - Considerations for Evaluation Flows for Flow Approval Processes
An evaluation flow is an autolaunched flow with a process type of Evaluation Flow that contains a predefined Boolean output variable. Use evaluation flows to define complex entry or exit conditions in flow approval processes. Before you use an evaluation flow, review the general guidelines and how to manage the predefined output variable. - Security Considerations for Flow Approval Processes
When you design flow approval processes, keep security considerations in mind. - Considerations for Migrating from Approval Processes
Before you design flow approval processes with Flow Approval Processes to replace approval processes created with Approval Processes, get familiar with the known gaps between the features.
