As a compliance reviewer, you check marketing work against your assigned compliance controls. Brand, legal, and regulatory reviewers each review the controls in their area. You review one control at a time and decide whether the work meets it, acting only on your assigned reviews.
Evaluating and completing assigned compliance reviews requires the Marketing Planning and Operations Reviewer permission set group.
Understand Reviews and Review Executions
A review applies one compliance control to a piece of marketing work. The review shows the latest compliance status for that control.
A review execution is your assigned work item. It's one round of a review. You evaluate the work and record your decision on the review execution. That decision updates the review that the review execution belongs to.
You get a new review execution each time someone sends the marketing work for review. For example, if you mark a review execution Not Compliant, the team can address the issues and send the work again. You then get another review execution for the next round. A review can also go to another round after a review execution ends as failed or waived.
Get Assigned to a Review
When someone sends a program, campaign, or tactic for review, you get a review execution for each of your controls. An in-app and email notification alerts you. You automatically have access to both the review execution and the marketing work that it applies to.
Open an assigned review execution from these places:
- The email and in-app notification
- The Marketing Planning & Operations app's navigation menu
- The Review Executions related list on the parent review
Complete a Review
Completing a review means recording your decision on its review execution. You evaluate the marketing work against the control and set the compliance status to Compliant or Not Compliant. Add a reason whenever the status is Not Compliant. Set a compliance status before you complete a review execution. Setting the stage to Completed finishes it.
See How Your Decision Affects the Marketing Work
When you complete a review execution, your decision rolls up to its review, which records the latest stage, compliance status, and review date. The marketing work also has an overall compliance status that rolls up from all of its reviews.
