Multi-factor authentication (MFA) requires users to enter two or more pieces of evidence, or factors, to prove identification. One factor is something the user knows, such as a username and password combination. Other factors are verification methods that the user has in possession, such as an authenticator app or security key.
Users can enable or disable this functionality from the MDP login page. As of February 1, 2022, MFA is mandatory for all users. For more information, see the Salesforce Multi-Factor Authentication FAQ.
Note If you’re using single sign-on (SSO) to access the MDP platform, you’re required to use MFA
for your SSO identity provider as of February 1, 2022. For more information, see the MFA requirements for SSO.

Cookies temporarily store a small amount of information in a user’s browser. Cookies are set at the user level, allowing every user to customize their own cookie settings.
