Define advanced settings to your data stream to select load modes, load rules, or configure additional settings. The available settings vary based on the type of data stream that you’re creating.
- Data Stream Version History
Use data stream version history to save versions of your data streams. Save your changes without processing the data, and then edit the data stream later. Create versions to compare their settings and apply the settings that you prefer. - MDP Automatic Data Refresh in Data Streams
You can use automatic data refresh to import data from a third-party technical vendor or to have data sent automatically via email or FTPS/SFTP. Automatic data refresh allows you to avoid uploading your data manually each time new data must be ingested into the data stream. - MDP Configure Data Stream Refresh and Frequency
If you’re creating or editing an API connector data stream, you can define the frequency and schedule for refreshing the data stream. - MDP Define Data Stream Attributes
You can define or modify the data stream attributes, including custom attributes and channels. - MDP Define How Updates Affect Existing Data
Define how new data updates the existing data in the data stream by changing the load mode. - MDP Data Load Rules
You can use Data Load rules to filter out unwanted data before you upload it to Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines. Create a load rule to set the criteria for the data that you want to upload. Then apply that rule to a data stream, and then apply a rule to filter out data before it’s loaded. For example, you want to upload data from your latest campaign, but due to an input error, the campaign dates are incorrect in your spreadsheet. Rather than create another spreadsheet, you can create a rule that tells MDP to ignore this campaign’s data. - MDP Apply Parent-Child Relationships to Share Attributes Across Data Streams
To share dimensional values across data streams, you can create parent-child relationships. - MDP Define Additional Settings to a Data Stream
Define additional settings to your data stream, such as ignore empty rows, execute only when part of a workflow and more. The settings are dynamic according to the data stream type you’re creating or editing.
