Adding or Editing Database Integrations

Configure an external database to import data from Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines. You configure the database before creating a database export. The user whose credentials are used when connecting to the database must have INSERT and DELETE permissions for at least one table in the database.

  1. From your workspace settings, on the left window, click Workspace Integration.
  2. Select the Database tab.
  3. All database integrations appear here. To create an integration, click Add Integration.
  4. Select the vendor.
  5. Enter a name.
  6. Configure the connection details, including host, port, database, warehouse, role, and account.
  7. To use a connection string instead, click Or, and then enter the string used for the connection.
  8. Define the authentication details, including user, password, and if necessary, private key.
  9. Before you create the integration, check it to make sure that it works and is valid. At the top right-hand side of the page, click Validate Connection.
  10. If there are any errors, a red information icon appears that you can click to view more details. If the integration is valid, click Create.
