Use the Sitecore Connect for SFMC activity to send contact status from Marketing Cloud Engagement to Sitecore as a contact moves through a journey.
- In the Messages section of a journey sidebar, drag the Sitecore activity onto the canvas.
- Click the activity.
- In the Contact State field, enter a state name.
- If the state is an exit state, select Contact is exiting the journey.
- Click Save.
- To activate the journey, click Activate.
