Include an Appended Attribute in Your Audience

Follow these steps to include an appended attribute in your Audience Builder audience.

Each Audience Builder account can use up to five sets of appended attributes. This feature only supports 1:1 attributes, such as Name.

  1. Open an existing audience or create a new audience.
  2. Navigate to the Publish tab.
  3. Click Create Set.
  4. Select a data package.
  5. Select up to 10 attributes for each set. Audience Builder adds the attributes to the set as you select them. To delete an attribute from the set, click X next to the attribute.
  6. Name your set and click Save.
  7. To enable the use of substitution strings in a send, select the set name to use. To delete a set, click Edit Icon to edit, then click Delete.
  8. Click Save and Publish.
