A permission set named Marketing Cloud Authorization is created when you connect Global
Promotions Management with a Marketing Cloud Engagement business unit. Users with this permission
set can activate pricing promotions and launch the automated process to create journeys in the
connected Engagement business unit for the activated promotion. Assign the authorization
permission set to marketing managers or other users who activate promotions.

View Setup and Configuration

From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then
select Permission Sets.

Click Marketing Cloud Authorization.

Click .

Select the users who require the permission to activate promotions.
