Prerequisites
A valid Affiliate Future API Key and API Password are required.
- Log in to your Affiliate Future Advertiser account
- Click the Bar Chart icon and select ‘Reporting APIs’
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Click here’.
- Under the API Details you’ll find your API Key and API Password.
- Enter your API Key and Password into the Authentication box.
General Setup
After you authenticate, in the General section, select the Account you want to connect to Marketing Cloud Intelligence.
Extended Properties
- Reports Type - The following two reports are available for retrieval from Affiliate Future:
- Publisher Report
- Transaction Report (includes both the Sales and Leads reports).
QA Your Data
- Create the desired report in the Affiliate Future UI for the required date range. Then, process the relevant Data Stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence for the same date range.
- Select the relevant Affiliate Future Report, as specified in the Extended Properties of the Data Stream.
- Create a Report/Table Widget/Pivot Table within Marketing Cloud Intelligence containing the exact same Dimensions and Measurements for the same report and date range.
- Compare the Measurement Totals and make sure they’re aligned.
