You can define or modify the data stream attributes, including custom attributes and channels.

| To define data steam attributes: | Admin |
- Navigate to the Connect & Mix tab.
- Expand Data Streams, and then expand Data Streams List.
- Create a data stream or edit one.
- At the bottom of the Data Stream page, click Advanced.
- Next to Data Stream Attributes, click Edit.
- To classify the data by attributes, enter custom attributes.
- Select the channel all the data coming through this data stream is derived from. You can also add a channel, or edit an existing one.
