Activation Center

Use the Activation Center to connect to third-party platforms, such as Slack, Facebook Ads, and Google Ads, to trigger alerts, collaborate, and automate workflows in other systems. For example, you can create an action that sends a notification in Slack every time a certain campaign hits the target value you set for it.

You can create actions and customize them using Webhooks and Python. And then you can automatically trigger actions based on key performance indicators (KPIs) you set for your campaigns, media buys, and creatives.

Actions and Action Rules

You can react, track, and manage your most important KPIs and benchmarks by using the activation center data optimization tools. Access the tools from the Activation Center menu in the Analyze & Act tab.

  • Actions — Interact with your channel or campaign. For example, send a Slack message to your reporting channel, pause a campaign on Facebook, or send a custom email.
  • Action Rules — Define the triggers for your actions. Triggers for your stored actions are automatically executed when the event you define occurs. You can trigger multiple actions for one action rule.

Action Types

These action types are available.

  • Email - send email to a list of contacts.
  • Webhook - trigger actions over the web in other applications.
  • IFTTT Connector - trigger an appellate in IFTTT.
  • Twilio Connector - send an SMS through Twilio.
  • Slack Connector - post to Slack.
  • Python - trigger python scripts.
  • Media Actions in Google, Twitter, and Facebook - trigger media actions such as stopping or starting campaigns, ad sets, or ads.
  • Create Actions in the Activation Center
Create actions for third-party providers and channel platforms such as Facebook Ads and Slack.
  • Create Action Rules in the Activation Center
Action rules define how a rule is triggered. For example, the action can be triggered by time or by a specific event. You can create a rule for several actions.
  • Trigger an Action Rule from the Management Screen
Triggering an action manually allows you to run an action rule at any time. If the action rule condition is met, the rule executes the actions specified in it. For example, if your stakeholders ask for an updated report in the middle of the week, you can trigger the action rule and see the latest information.
