Update Share Settings for External Users

Adjust the Organization-Wide Defaults to provide read-only access to essential energy and utility objects for external users.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sharing Settings, and select Sharing Settings.
2. In the Organization-Wide Defaults section, click Edit.
3. Set the Default External Access to Read Only for the following objects:
   • Attribute Definition
   • Attribute Picklist
   • Attribute Category
   • Attribute Category Attribute
   • Billing Account
   • Catalog
   • Decision Matrix
   • Energy Service Agreement
   • Expression Set
   • Location
   • Product
   • Product Classification
   • Product Classification Attribute
   • Product Component Group.
   • Product Attribute Definition (ensure this is set for both internal and external users).
   • Service Point
   • Unit of Measure
4. Save your changes.
