Create Customer Tasks

Use the Consumer Good Cloud offline mobile app to create customer tasks during visits. Supervisors can also create tasks for their sales reps to be performed during visits.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.
User Permissions Needed
To create customer tasks:

CGCloud Supervisor

OR

CGCloud Retail Supervisor User AND CGCloud Retail User

OR

CGCloud Sales User

OR

CGCloud Retail Sales User AND CGCloud Retail User
  1. From Customer Tasks Overview, tap Add Customer Task.
  2. To select a customer, tap Customer.
  3. To select a customer task type, tap Customer Task Type.
  4. Enter a description.
  5. Change the due date, if necessary. By default, the due date is the current date.
    If you change the due date to a future date, the task won’t appear on the Tasks card.
  6. Tap Create.
