Plan and Manage Visits
Plan your own visits and create on-demand visits for your sales reps. To help improve a rep’s performance, supervisors can accompany them on visits. By default, supervisors can create an on-demand visit for any sales rep. For supervisors to be able to create visits for their subordinates, administrators must enable role hierarchy for the supervisors. These resources can help you get started.
Track Time Utilization of the Team
Use daily reports and time cards to review how sales reps use their productive and downtime hours, and track productivity. Assign, view, and approve or reject the reports from your sales reps. If reports have an incorrect approver, supervisors can assign the correct approver. See these resources.
Manage Substitutions
Ensure continuous service even when a sales rep isn’t available. Create a substitute, and assign temporary access to the unavailable rep’s data. See Assign a Substitute to a Customer.
Collaborate with Team by Using Notifications, Tasks, and Customer Tasks
Send one-way communications to your sales reps by creating notifications. For example, you can notify your sales rep about the topics to discuss during the next team meeting. You can create tasks for your sales reps to assign non-customer related actions. For example, you can create a task for your sales rep to release the daily report for the last week. You can monitor tasks and release them as they’re closed. Sales reps can either review the customer tasks that their supervisor created or create customer tasks during visits. See these resources.
