Turn on the Regulation and Policy Status Transition and Validation Criteria setting to enforce the status transition criteria and validation requirements for regulation and policy records.
- Considerations
- When the setting is turned on, only valid transitions occur.
- When the setting is off, all status transitions are valid, without conditions.
- Transition and validation criteria applies to individual record updates and bulk updates.
- If compliance policy version has two or more published compliance policy clause versions, each published compliance policy clause version must be associated with a unique compliance policy clause record.
For example, when the setting is on:
- You can update the status of a draft compliance policy version to review.
- You can't update the status of a pending approval compliance policy version to draft.
- You can update a pending approval compliance policy version to published only when all associated compliance policy clause versions are published or active
