To clone and activate the flows: Customize Application

Milestones must already be created from Repossession Notice Logs. See Collection Plan Milestones for Repossession Notices.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select Flows.
  2. Open Repossession: Expire Collection Plan Milestones.
  3. Clone the flow.
Salesforce ships it as an inactive reference flow, so you activate your own copy rather than the shipped version.
  4. Open the scheduled path Expiry Date Plus One Day, and set the Offset to the grace period your business uses after a milestone's Expired Date.
The shipped reference uses a 1-minute offset for demo purposes only.
  5. Save and activate your cloned flow.
  6. Repeat these steps for Repossession: Expire Financial Account Milestones.

Collection Plan Milestones and Financial Account Milestones automatically move from Active to Expired on their calculated expiry date, without a separate batch or scheduled job.

Note
Note Scheduled paths run asynchronously, so the actual stage change can lag the calculated expiry time by several minutes, depending on org load. This is expected platform behavior, not a defect.
