Set up the required connections, permissions, and Slack channel configurations before your team can collaborate on recruitment in Slack.
- If you haven’t already connected Slack and Salesforce, do that first.
- Complete the Talent Recruitment Management prerequisites.
- Assign the user permissions outlined in Manage Users for Talent Recruitment Management.
- Set up Compliant Data Sharing.
- Enable Slack Channels for Records on the Recruitment Requisition object. Complete steps 2 and 3.
- From Setup, enter Permission Sets in the Quick Find box, and then select Permission Sets.
- Select Slack Integration User.
- Select System Permissions, and then click Edit.
- Select Manage Recruiting and Hiring.
- Click Save.
Three flows are visible in Setup after you enable Slack Channels for records on the Recruitment Requisition object. To view these flows, enter Flows in the Quick Find box. The Slack Recruitment flows are:
- Create Recruitment Requisition Slack Channel
- Add Participants to Recruitment Requisition Slack Channel
- Add User Collection to Recruitment Requisition Slack Channel
