# Recruitment Slack Collaboration Prerequisites

Set up the required connections, permissions, and Slack channel configurations before your team can collaborate on recruitment in Slack.

- If you haven’t already [connected Slack and Salesforce](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=slack.slack_connections.htm&type=5&language=en_US), do that first.
- Complete the [Talent Recruitment Management prerequisites](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.psc_recruitment_prerequisites.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
- Assign the user permissions outlined in [Manage Users for Talent Recruitment Management](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.psc_recruitment_user_management.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
- [Set up Compliant Data Sharing](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.psc_recruitment_set_up_cds.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
- Enable Slack Channels for Records on the [Recruitment Requisition object](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=slack.slack_salesforce_channels_setup.htm&language=en_US). Complete steps 2 and 3.

1. From Setup, enter Permission Sets in the Quick Find box, and then select **Permission Sets**.
2. Select **Slack Integration User**.
3. Select **System Permissions**, and then click **Edit**.
4. Select **Manage Recruiting and Hiring**.
5. Click **Save**.

Three flows are visible in Setup after you enable Slack Channels for records on the [Recruitment Requisition object](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=slack.slack_salesforce_channels_setup.htm&language=en_US). To view these flows, enter Flows in the Quick Find box. The Slack Recruitment flows are:

- Create Recruitment Requisition Slack Channel
- Add Participants to Recruitment Requisition Slack Channel
- Add User Collection to Recruitment Requisition Slack Channel
