Review a Submitted License or Permit Application

Open a submitted license or permit application, review what the applicant provided, and then approve, return, or reject it.

Required Editions

  1. Open the Application Form record for the submitted application.
The highlights panel and the Details tab show the key fields, including the current stage.
  2. Review the information that the applicant provided, along with any documents that they uploaded.
  3. To see the records that the application generated, select the Related tab.
The tab lists the application's related records, including regulatory transaction fees, assessments, applicants, and document checklist items. To collect payment for those fees, see Inbound Payments in Public Sector.
  4. Approve, return, or reject the application in your agency's approval process.
Your approval process sets the application's stage when you record the outcome.
  5. If you return the application, enter the reason.
The reason tells the applicant what to correct before they resubmit.

A returned application keeps its stage and carries a returned flag, so it appears in the applicant's returned applications list. When the applicant resubmits, the application returns to your queue.
