Using flows in your LWR sites lets you automate your business processes and use the versatility of Flow Builder to your advantage. But before you implement flows in your LWR sites, it’s important to understand the limitations.
Aura Components
LWR sites can’t run flows that use Aura components. Make sure that all custom flow screen components are built using Lightning Web Components (LWC). We’ve included here a list of commonly used Aura components and features that you can’t use in LWR. Keep in mind that this list isn’t exhaustive.
- File upload
- File Upload is an Aura component that is often used in screen flows.
- Image
- Image is an Aura component that is often used in screen flows.
- Local actions
- Building or modifying custom Aura components to use as local actions in flows isn’t available in LWR sites. This functionality is typically used to execute client-side logic in your flow.
Pause or Resume Flows
LWR doesn’t support pausing or resuming flows.
Record Fields
If you place record fields directly on your flow screens, those fields don’t appear in LWR sites. This Flow Builder functionality is sometimes referred to as automatic fields or dynamic forms for flows.
lightning-out Component
If you have custom Lightning Web Components or Aura components in your flow, then you can’t
use the lightning-flow component on LWR sites.
