From Setup, enter Permission Sets in the Quick Find box and select
Permission Sets.

Select the permission set assigned to your Experience Cloud site users.

Under System Permissions, select Edit.

Select API Enabled.

Save your changes.
Without this permission, the FastSearch API cannot return data, and the agent will show
empty responses.
