Before you use a template during activation creation, at least one activation template must exist that matches the target platform and DMO for your activation.
When you create a new activation, select an existing activation template to use as a starting point. The template prefills the activation's configuration with the stored contact point selection, source priority, filters, and enrichment settings. You can then review, adjust, and save the activation. The template acts as a one-time blueprint. After you save the activation, changes to the template don't affect the activation.
- In Data 360, go to Activations and click New.
- Select Segment or data model object (DMO)and click Continue.
- In the New Activation dialog, complete these fields.
- Click Continue.
- Review the activation configuration prefilled from the template and adjust any settings as needed, including contact points, source priority, and enrichment attributes.
- Add a name and an optional description.
- Click Save.
