In Data 360, refreshing a data graph updates its underlying data with changes that occurred since the last refresh. A refresh takes the same amount of time as initial creation (15 minutes up to several hours, depending on data quantity). Data remains accessible while a refresh is in progress.

After a data graph is created, its refresh type can't be changed between streaming and scheduled.
Note During refresh, an exact empty string on a text join key is treated like a null value,
preventing rows from incorrectly matching each other when upstream processes store missing
values as empty strings on join key fields. Whitespace values are treated as real keys and
continue to match. This applies to refresh joins only.
Schedule a Refresh for a Data Graph
Set different refresh intervals to tailor refresh frequency to business requirements or data update rates. Shorter intervals increase processing and operational costs.
Track the schedule and status in the list view.
- Schedule:— Displays the refresh interval currently set.
- Last Refreshed On: —Displays the timestamp of the most recent refresh.
To schedule a refresh for a data graph:
- In Data Graphs, next to the data graph that you want to schedule, select Schedule.
- Select a refresh interval.

Save your work.
While the data graph is refreshing, it has an active processing status. After a data graph is created, you can’t change the refresh type between streaming and scheduled. To use a different refresh type, create a new data graph with the required configuration.
