The Point of Sale product promotion details can be derived from the product feed itself. Providing a separate promotion feed allows you to send multiple promotion call outs for a product.
Note This feed only enables promotion call-out messages. Product pricing or discounts are not
calculated based on this feed.
Format
The feed format is XML (Standard Demandware Export).
Frequency
After every full product feed import.
Content
- promotion title (e.g. “Buy one get second 50% off”)
- promotion effective date (the start date/end date of the promotion (e.g. “20160301T13:000800/20160305T13:000800”)
Note
- All feed files can be sent in the original or compressed form.
- Compression support methods are .gz and .zip files. All feed content supports UTF-8 encoding.
