Updates To OCAPI and SCAPI APIs

This release introduces several enhancements to the Open Commerce API (OCAPI) and the Storefront Commerce API (SCAPI) to improve performance, and enhance developer experience.

OCAPI Updates:

• The Data API GET customer_lists resource now returns customer list preferences.
• The Data API system_object_definitions and custom_object_definitions APIs no longer allow changing the read-only attribute value_type. When you try to change the value_type attribute via a PATCH OCAPI request, the OCAPI fault AttributeDefinitionPropertyReadOnlyException is returned.

SCAPI Updates:

• Access SCAPI request logs in the LogCenter instance for each realm. Log information includes:
  • Error log messages for events that occur when requests cannot be processed, for example: missing data, faulty requests, or failed authentication.
  • Log messages for http responses that are in the server error range 500-599.
  • To view the logs In LogCenter, select scapi for the Service Type filter.
