# Updates To OCAPI and SCAPI APIs

This release introduces several enhancements to the Open Commerce API (OCAPI) and the Storefront Commerce API (SCAPI) to improve performance, and enhance developer experience.

**OCAPI Updates:**

- The Data API `GET customer_lists` resource now returns customer list preferences.
- The Data API `system_object_definitions` and `custom_object_definitions` APIs no longer allow changing the read-only attribute `value_type`. When you try to change the `value_type` attribute via a PATCH OCAPI request, the OCAPI fault `AttributeDefinitionPropertyReadOnlyException` is returned.

**SCAPI Updates:**

- Access SCAPI request logs in the LogCenter instance for each realm. Log information includes:
    - Error log messages for events that occur when requests cannot be processed, for example: missing data, faulty requests, or failed authentication.
    - Log messages for http responses that are in the server error range 500-599.
    - To view the logs In LogCenter, select scapi for the Service Type filter.
