Stop a test if it has not produced useful results or if its test segment effects decrease revenue.
A stopped test no longer takes on new participants and excludes past participants that return to the site. However, it collects metrics on active participant sessions until they expire.
Salesforce recommends that you stop an A/B test in both the production instance and in staging so that a subsequent replication does not override it. You can stop a test in staging, but it takes effect only if you replicate the test to production.
Note B2C Commerce saves any metrics collected before you stop the test, so you can
analyze the data later.
