B2C Commerce with Agentforce Marketing supports consent capture on PWA Kit and SFRA storefronts. On PWA Kit, consent capture is available only for email subscriptions and can appear only in the footer. On SFRA storefronts, consent capture is available for SMS, email, and WhatsApp, and can appear in the footer, registration page, or checkout.
In Business Manager, create shopper consents to specify the channels that consents use and the site pages where you want consents to appear. See Create a Shopper Consent for information about creating shopper consents.
On each site page where a consent can appear, for example, in the registration page on an SFRA storefront, a consent component checks whether a shopper consent is specified for that page. If the component finds a shopper consent for the page, the component displays opt-in consent checkboxes in the storefront. The shopper consents control how the checkboxes are displayed in the storefront, including the default checkbox states and required settings.
If your storefront displays consent checkboxes in the checkout page, B2C Commerce submits the consents in parallel with the order and doesn't block order placement. If your storefront displays consent checkboxes in the registration form, B2C Commerce captures the shopper's consent selections for the contact points the shopper provided, such as email address.
