View Custom Templates

View the list of all custom templates created by yourself and other analysts in Tableau Next. This list tells you which templates are listed in the Tableau Next Marketplace, who created them, and what the template type is.

Required Editions

View supported editions.
User Permissions Needed
To view, create, and edit Tableau Next templates: Tableau Unmetered Platform Analyst or Tableau Next Platform Analyst permission set
To list and unlist Tableau Next templates in the Marketplace: Tableau Unmetered Admin or Tableau Next Admin permission set
Note
Note In Winter '26, only dashboard are supported.
  1. In Tableau Next, click Templates.
    The Templates menu item in Tableau Next.
  2. To see the details or edit a template, select a template from the list.
    Select a template from the Tableau Next list of templates.

On the template details page, you can edit the metadata and preview images for a template, list or unlist dashboard templates in the Marketplace, and delete the template.
