Customize and extend CSI Score based on the company's priority metrics and KPIs, scoring logic, and visualization preferences. Admins or analysts can add new scores, update the data source for scores, enhance the scoring logic, calculations, and weights, and customize visualizations. Modify metric weights to change the influence of specific scores, such as increasing the weight of the Sentiment Score from 0.5 to 0.7. Add new KPIs to integrate proprietary metrics such as custom churn probability, or customize dashboards to enhance the visual layout for specific business needs.
- Configure a Semantic Model for Customizations
The CSI Score semantic model that you install is where all the metrics and calculations of composite scores and the all-up CSI score reside. The installed model is locked. You can't customize either the resources of the locked model or the CSI Score assets in Tableau Next that reference the locked model. You can either clone or extend the CSI Score semantic model to make your customizations. - Enhance Scoring Logic in Custom Semantic Model
Adapt the semantic model that you created by extending or cloning the CSI Score semantic model based on your company's requirements. Data 360 provides all the customization options to add data sources, adjust score weights, or create scores. The customization options available to you differ based on whether you cloned or extended the installed CSI Score semantic model. - Customize Tableau Next Assets of CSI Score
After the CSI Score is installed, a set of Tableau Next assets are added. The assets include visualizations and dashboards. Like the installed CSI Score semantic model, the installed visualizations and dashboards are locked. All locked visualizations use resources from the installed CSI Score semantic model that's also locked. You can't change resources used in locked visualizations to resources from your custom semantic model. The locked dashboards can be cloned but the new dashboards inherit locked visualization from the parent dashboard. You can either add widgets that use metrics from your custom semantic model. Or, you can replace the model and metric of the inherited widgets. - Update CSI Score App with Custom Dashboards
The CSI Score app shows the Tableau Next dashboards provided with CSI Score. If admins or analysts clone installed dashboards or add company-specific dashboards, they must also add the customized dashboards to the CSI Score app. - Customization Considerations in CSI Score
