Keep these considerations in mind when using repeater widgets.
- To facet repeater widget data, use a query with a grouping. For example, use a Compare or Pivot table in your query.
- Changing the mode in a query used by a repeater widget can cause errors in the widgets used in the repeater widget. For example, if you change a query from Table Mode to Chart Mode, the widgets within the repeater widget don’t show data.
- If a dashboard uses multiple layouts, such as mobile, tablet, and desktop, changes made to a repeater widget are shown in all layouts.
- When adding one-click actions, such as opening a Salesforce record, include the dataset row identifier, such as Record ID, in the table to help locate the record.
- You can’t select a border color for a text widget in a repeater when setting a conditional formatting rule that applies to the field only.
