Remove dependencies on a prompt template so you can safely delete or modify the template without breaking other components.

Prompt Template Manager permission set
OR Customize Application permission set |
- For each agent listed, go to Agentforce Builder, and then open the agent.
- Navigate to the subagent that uses the template.
- Remove or replace the template reference.
- Click Save, and then click Publish.
- Return to Prompt Builder, and then repeat the steps to open the Delete Template modal.
- Verify that no references appear.
- Delete the template version, or update the template as needed.
