# 索引和搜索服务器

Tableau Server 索引和搜索服务器进程基于 OpenSearch，可在您的 Tableau Server 站点上处理内容元数据的快速搜索、筛选、检索和显示。从 Tableau Server 版本 2023.3 开始，索引和搜索服务器完全取代了“搜索和浏览”进程。

## 服务器配置

索引和搜索服务器自动安装在初始节点上。

### 多节点配置

若要配置索引和搜索服务器以实现高可用性，请在多个节点上配置该进程。我们建议您配置奇数个索引和搜索服务器实例。在具有 3 个或更多节点的 Tableau Server 群集上，您应在至少三个不同的节点上配置索引和搜索服务器。

**当索引和搜索服务器出现故障时会发生什么？**

如果索引和搜索服务器出现故障，用户仍然可以登录 Tableau Server，但是，不同的内容类型（例如工作簿、项目、数据源和视图）不会出现在主页、搜索栏或浏览页面中。如果从添加书签的 URL 访问，现有工作簿和视图仍应可访问且功能齐全。内容实际上没有丢失，而是搜索结果中没有返回内容；在索引和搜索服务器重新启动后，内容将再次显示。出现故障的索引和搜索服务器会自动重新启动；只要计算机本身在其他方面正常，该服务就会重新启动。

如果配置了多个索引和搜索服务器，并且发生失败情况时该服务器在多个节点上运行，则对出现故障的索引和搜索服务器的请求也会失败，但随后的请求将传送到工作正常的索引和搜索服务器实例。每个索引和搜索服务器实例都会对集群中的所有节点进行索引，因此只要有一个索引和搜索服务器实例正在运行，结果仍然会在所有节点上返回。

## 性能调整

可以使用带 `indexandsearchserver.vmopts` 选项的 `tsm set configuration` 命令选项来配置索引和搜索服务器堆大小。有关详细信息，请参见[indexandsearchserver.vmopts](https://help.tableau.com/v0.0/server/zh-cn/cli_configuration-set_tsm.htm#indexandsearchserver)

## 重建索引

在还原过程中，还原过程将启动 Tableau Server 管理的内容和外部资产的完整重新索引。重建索引过程消耗 CPU 资源，在备份和还原过程中可能会很明显。
